Regular garden maintenance or a one-off clean-up, plus pressure washing and single-storey gutter cleaning. No landscape design, paving or tree removal.

Lawn care

Mowing, edging and slashing, plus the renovation work that gets a thin or patchy lawn growing again.

Lawns mown, edged along every path, driveway and bed line, and blown down when we finish. Long grass and overgrown blocks are slashed back first. When a lawn has gone thin, spongy or patchy, we dethatch or scarify it to clear the built-up thatch, aerate compacted ground so water reaches the roots, reseed bare patches, or lay new turf where the old lawn is past saving. Mowing can be a one-off or a weekly to monthly visit, with no lock-in contract.

Pruning & hedging

Hedges trimmed and shaped, shrubs and roses pruned, and trees thinned to keep them in shape.

Hedges cut back to a clean, even line and shaped to suit the garden, from a formal box hedge to a screening row along the fence. Shrubs, roses and ornamental trees are pruned, and trees are thinned and shaped to let light through and keep branches off the roof. We also trim climbers and vines before they take over a fence or pergola, remove dead palm fronds, and book seasonal pruning as a regular job. The cuttings leave on the trailer with us.

Garden bed maintenance

Beds weeded by hand or sprayed, cleaned up, mulched and fed so they stay tidy between visits.

Weeds pulled by hand from beds and between plants, with weed spraying for paths, paving and larger patches. Beds are cleaned up, shrubs trimmed back off paths and lawn edges, and fresh mulch put down to hold moisture and keep the weeds down. Plants are fertilised to suit the season, and anything dead or past its best can be removed and replaced.

Garden clean-ups

One-off clean-ups for overgrown gardens, rentals, vacant properties and homes going on the market.

A complete garden clean-up in one visit: overgrown lawns and beds cut back, weeds cleared, hedges and shrubs trimmed, and everything we pull out taken away. We do end-of-lease clean-ups for tenants and agents, pre-sale presentation before the photos and open inspections, and ongoing maintenance for rental and vacant properties so a house sitting empty still looks cared for. Green waste and hard rubbish are removed from site.

Pressure washing

Driveways, paths, patios and pavers cleaned back — before a sale, or after a long winter.

Concrete driveways, paths, patios, pavers and retaining walls washed back to the surface underneath. Most commonly booked as part of a pre-sale clean-up, or as a reset after winter when moss and algae have taken hold on the shaded side of the house. All equipment and water pressure supplied; we work out the right pressure for the surface rather than blasting everything at maximum.

Gutter cleaning

Single-storey homes. Gutters cleared by hand and downpipes checked to flow.

Gutters cleared of leaf litter and debris by hand, downpipes checked to confirm they actually run clear, and everything we pull out taken away with us. Worth booking before the first heavy autumn rain and again after leaf drop, especially on the eastern-suburbs blocks with gums or established street trees nearby. Single-storey homes only — we do not carry the roof-access equipment for double-storey work.

The same person every visit: You are not getting a rotating crew from a franchise call centre. The person who quotes the job is the person who turns up and does it, so nothing has to be explained twice.
The price is fixed before we start: Quotes are given on site, in person, and written down. Overgrown lawns and blocked downpipes are priced into the quote, not added to the invoice afterwards.
No lock-in contract: Weekly, fortnightly, monthly or a one-off. Change the schedule, pause it over winter, or stop entirely — no notice period and no cancellation fee.
Green waste leaves with us: Clippings, prunings and gutter debris go on the trailer. Your bin stays empty and there is nothing left in a pile on the nature strip.

How it works

Regular lawn and garden maintenance or a one-off clean-up

A regular visit, weekly through to monthly, covers mowing, edging, slashing, hedge trimming and shaping, hand weeding, garden bed clean-ups, shrub trimming and weed spraying. Or book a single visit when the garden has already got away from you. Both start with the same free on-site quote.

Weekly

Peak growing season, October through March. The full maintenance visit every week so the lawn and beds never get ahead of you. Best for larger blocks and couch or kikuyu lawns.

Fortnightly or monthly

The schedule most eastern-suburbs homes settle on. Fortnightly keeps lawns, edges and beds sharp through spring and summer; monthly suits winter and smaller, slower-growing gardens.

One-off

Pre-sale clean-ups, end-of-lease tidies, a post-holiday reset, or a single seasonal blitz on an overgrown block. No commitment and no follow-up call.

GreenEdge is one operator with a trailer, working out of Newton since 2025. We look after lawns, hedges, garden beds, irrigation, hard surfaces and gutters across Adelaide's eastern suburbs. Maintenance and clean-up work, done properly, rather than a list of everything done badly: no landscape design, no paving, no tree removal. If a job falls outside that, we will say so on the spot and point you to someone who does it.
